Dear Fellow Students,
The Chapter of Patras of Scientific Society of Hellenic Medical Students organised the “ Basic Fractures Immobilization” Workshop, which will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Anatomy of the Department of Medicine in collaboration with the Orthopedic Clinic.
The Workshop will give the opportunity to 50 medical students familiarize with basic suturing skills on organic models and the application of bandages, that will be required to act as future doctors in everyday clinical practice.
How will we be trained?
The participants will be divided into groups of 25 people who will carry out the Workshop successively according to the program which they will receive in their acceptance e-mail.
The participants will form groups of two people and will place the plaster alternately. A short theoretical training will precede the practical part. The total duration of training for each group is 1.5 hours.
How can I participate?
ONLY the Members of EEFIE of the Patras Branch have the right to submit a Declaration of Participation. In the participation form there is a special box for completing the Individual Member Code which is located on the Registration Receipt or on the Membership Card of the Members of the Patras Branch. The Member Code is personal and is not transferable, while any application with a code that does not correspond to the person who stated will NOT be taken into account in the final selection of participants. Additional duplicate applications will be rejected.
